Michelle manages the Customer Adoption Program in EPA’s Office of Environmental Information. She is charged with educating and inspiring employees to change ingrained work habits and use new technologies, and to help ensure that the tools provided are meeting employees’ needs. She has worked in the IT department at EPA for 8 years. Major projects include launching EPA’s first Learning Management System, starting and managing an enterprise IT training program, implementing change management plans for EPA’s transition from Lotus Notes to Office 365, and driving adoption of new technologies from web-conferencing to virtual desktops. Michelle earned undergraduate degrees are in Journalism and English and a Master’s degrees in Public Administration. She previously worked as a professor in Oaxaca, Mexico.
